White Rann Resort, operated and managed by Praveg Communications India Limited for RannUtsav Festival, has been conferred ‘Best Eco Resort in Gujarat’ award in the first edition of Gujarat Travel and Tourism Excellence Awards 2020 organized on 25th September, 2020.

RajwadiBhungas, the traditional Kutchi houses, is the exclusive ecological initiative and feature of the Resort. The rustic yet luxurious accommodation reflects the traditions of Kutch with its inner walls decorated with Kutchi paintings. The Resort received a wide scale appreciation for its eco-friendly practices.

The virtual tourism award ceremony was organized for the very first time in the tourism industry of India. The first segment of the event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Fisheries ShriJawaharChavda and Hon’ble Minister of State for Tourism, Gujarat ShriVasanBhaiAhir. The award ceremony had 13 different categories ranging from best tour operator, best Gujarati cuisine restaurant to a special jury award and many more.
